The silent movie "My Cousin" 1918

This silent movie marked the screen debut of Enrico Caruso. Caruso plays two characters: a poor sculptor and his famous opera singer cousin. Filmed in Hammerstein’s Manhattan Opera House, the movie contains footage of Caruso in the role of Canio from Leoncavallo’s I pagliacci (in Part 2).
